Knitting 103: Hat in the Round @ Good Grief Yarn

Knitting flat is for squares (literally!). Get ready to learn knitting in the round! This method of knitting allows 3D shapes to be knit continuously without switching your knitting back and forth and without the need to sew the edges together. This warm, wool hat is the perfect first project for circular needles. As a bonus, students will learn the “Magic Loop” method, which allows knitters to do the shaping at the top of the hat without changing to double pointed needles.
