Take your first step toward making your own clothes and household items by learning to knit! This foundational course is designed for absolute beginners. Even if you've never held a knitting needle before I will patiently walk you through all the steps necessary for completing a simple project—your very own washcloth.

This foundations skills course will teach students the 2 stitches that make up every knitting project to begin their knitting journey.

Beginner Knitting For Kids @ Studio Mooi
Can your child learn to knit in only 3 weeks? Yes they can! Each 90 minute class will work on a foundational skill until the students make a beginner project of their choice!

Knitting 103: Merino Hat @ Good Grief Yarn
Now that you've mastered flat knitting it's time to knit in 3D! In this course, you'll knit a soft, chunky hat on circular needles using the Magic Loop method. Circular knitting allows you to knit items "in the round" and opens up your skills to knit things like socks, mittens, and even seamless sweaters. The hat is knit using a soft, squishable merino yarn that will feel heavenly on cold days.

Knitting 102: Scarflette @ Good Grief Yarn
You’re comfortable with knits and purls and now you’re ready for the next step: shaping! This simple mini-scarf (or scarflette) course will teach you 3 increases and 3 decreases that will get you ready to tackle knitting projects that are more than just squares and rectangles. And you’ll have a soft, fashionable scarf to add to your spring and fall wardrobe!

Beginner Crochet @ Studio Mooi
This foundations skills class will teach students up to 3 basic crochet stitches (time permitting) to get you started on your crochet journey.

Beginner Crochet For Kids @ Studio Mooi
This 3-week course (90 minutes per week) will introduce kids ages 7 and up to the creativity of crochet. Students will learn single crochet and work on a beginner project of their choice with help from an expert instructor!

Handspun Yarn Workshop @ Studio Mooi
